ABOUT US

Hey it’s your favorite dessert shop, Sweeties. Can’t believe we have been serving delicious treats for 10 years!!!!! Since we opened in the Broad Ripple area so many things have changed. With that said we would like to announce that the Broad Ripple location is now closed and will be moving East, off of Pendleton Pike and Sunnyside Rd. While we are sad not have a footprint where we started, we are excited for the new opportunity to serve new customers. We are also excited to announce the relaunch of our online store. Use the link below for curbside service or to have your treats delivered straight to your door. We all are facing trying times, as a small business we are trying to help our staff stay employed. While those third party delivery vendors are great, buying direct is better!! Looking for better days ahead, in the meantime visit our Fishers location or get online and order some treats!!!

My name is Tiffany Colvin, born & raised in Indianapolis, IN and a graduate of IPS Broad Ripple High School and mother of four.  I’m married to Rosevelt Colvin III who played 10 years in the NFL and is a 2x Super Bowl Champion while playing for the Chicago Bears & New England Patriots.  After high school I completed cosmetology school and became a professional hair stylist, styling hair part time for 3 years in the Indianapolis area. During his career I was a stay at home mom and continued to style hair for friends but my desire was to open up an upscale salon/spa in the Indy area after he retired.  As time passed, I realized that my passion was no longer in doing hair but in the kitchen.

At a young age I learned how to cook by following my mother around in the kitchen as she prepared meals.  As I developed a love for eating food as well as cooking, I’ve realized over the years that this is where my heart is.  My mother, Patrice Young

(aka TC) has been baking cakes for weddings, birthdays, showers as well as other events in the city for many years.  Sweeties was the great opportunity to share with her the joy we have in baking.

For years my mother would travel to Illinois and Massachusetts during holidays to bake cakes and pies for my husbands teammates and coaches.  There were occasions where we would stay up all night trying to prepare 60 to 70 cakes and pies that had been ordered.  Who would have known that it foreshadowed what was to come.  Both of our passions is food and the preparation of it, so to see and hear people’s reaction when they taste our food is a joy.

Upon returning home to Indianapolis in 2009, the want to own my own dessert shop grew more and more.  As I developed my own twist to old-fashioned desserts and my mother continued to make delicious cakes for loved ones, we reached the point where we want to make the dream a reality.  As we researched we realized that it was going to be a challenge.  Our first store we opened was in “Broad Ripple Village”.  A great little artsy district of restaurants, bars and businesses in Indianapolis.  Graduating from high school there made it all the more personal so in 2009 SweeTies Gourmet Treats arrived!!!  Today we have our 2nd location in Fishers Indiana and looking to open our 3rd.  It has been a blessing and we know that God will continue to help us provide THE BEST DESSERTS IN TOWN!!!!

At Sweeties Gourmet Treats we use freshest ingredients and bake in small batches so that we can provide top quality desserts.  If you are ever in the area, stop into one of our locations and taste the BEST desserts in town!!!!
